A Faster, More Seamless Trade Experience through Schwab
As many advisors are shifting to a three-dimensional portfolio across stocks, bonds, and alternatives, CAIS is excited to announce improvements to the trade process that will make investing in alternatives simpler and more efficient.
CAIS DocuSign functionality is now live for all Schwab clients. During the “Send & Sign” part of the trade process, CAIS DocuSign will now be available for those firms that allow for eSignature – without cost or additional sign-up.
Available Across Schwab Alternative Investment platforms
With CAIS DocuSign enabled, it eliminates the need to process orders at both CAIS and Schwab separately. The DocuSign feature also reduces the need for wet signatures, saving time and hassle during the trade process, and reducing time to invest.
Documents signed using CAIS DocuSign remove the advisor requirement to submit a letter of authorization or subscription agreement manually to Schwab, saving time and effort. This expanded functionality offers a new level of integration that seeks to make investing in alternative investments faster, more secure, and convenient for advisors.

Global Navigation
We enhanced the platform navigation to be more intuitive, helping users find what they need faster. Through the expanded dropdown menus, users can jump between research, fund menus, documents, and orders. Home offices can also tailor their navigation experience with a menu designed for their specific needs.

Enhanced Product Pages
Users can now navigate investment options more quickly with updated fund menus and enhanced filters. Our expanded fund menu allows users to compare key fund terms across products. We have also added filter functionality so users can filter down the menu by strategy, firm, investor level, and more.
The fund pages includes over 100+ new data points, including share class comparisons, document deadlines, and custodian acceptance.

Orders Pipeline
CAIS has enhanced its Orders pipeline with real time “in-good-order” document status and wire statuses. This intuitive dashboard enables you to streamline your workflows for a more transparent trading experience.
